Involvement from the local community, at a local monastery.  In March 2011, the Monastery ended its connection with the Anderson Greek Festival.

Febuary 21, 2006: His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta officiated the Groundbreaking (Laying of the Foundation Stone) of the Chapel of Panagia Soumela, Monastery

** The recent proceeds from our Festivals/Bazaars go to outreach causes, Orthodox and non-Orthodox causes.
